Time to get off my ass

Teal isn't a nice color, I find it quite obnoxious but I'll be covered in it April 27th.  I signed up for a 5k today (color run) to support Ovarian Cancer... this is crude but I'm not really running for those cancer patients or for the support in research.  I'm signed up so that maybe I'll get off my ass and get moving again.

Don't they say that couples in a happy relationship get fat? Or am I just using that as an excuse?  Either way I've gained 10lbs since being with Eric and it is time to get healthy again.  No more excuses.

My biggest downfall is the amount of sugar I eat.  I'm addicted to that shit.  It is seriously like crack for me.  If you are around me please kick my ass if you see me snacking on nasty refined garbage.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I am giving myself a pass this weekend.  One last weekend of debauchery and I will get back on the damn wagon.

p.s. I spelled debauchery the right way the first time and didn't trust spellcheck so I looked it up.  I have issues.

Welcome to my head

Sometimes we have to go though experiences in life to learn who we truly are.  I have no regrets in life, I've not always done the right thing or been the best person but this is who I am.  It has been a journey.   Sometimes you have to hit the bottom to start going up and appreciate life.

I can smile again.  I can feel.
